Rooted in a 400-year farming tradition that traces back to Virginia's earliest settlement and flourished in the Mississippi Delta, and inspired by the values and community spirit of Vermont immigrants, Above Ground Winery was built on a shared passion for agriculture, hospitality, and connection. We are dedicated to producing estate-grown, approachable wines while creating a welcoming experience for every guest.
Our commitment goes beyond the vineyard. We partner with wineries and vineyards, provide consulting and mentorship to emerging wine businesses, support our local community, and continually seek innovative ways to improve operations and enhance the guest experience. By sharing knowledge, embracing innovation, and fostering collaboration, we help create success for our partners while delivering exceptional experiences for every guest.
